Service Opportunities
for Students in Health Care Studies

Do you want to experience medical missions?  Here are some great suggestions and helps. The organizations listed here specifically invite medical students on their projects. There are also some ideas of where to get funds, rotation assignments, and specialty training. (Use 'Search' to find specific countries, specialties, etc.)

Volunteer? What Does It Mean?
Almost without exception, these agencies cannot offer any financial help. That means you must pay your own way - transportation, food and accomodations (often inexpensive), etc. In exchange, they offer a first-hand look at how medical missions work.
That's not so bad! You'll probably be surprised at how willing friends and churches are to help you raise the money you'll need.

Use our Search feature to find a location or type of service.
