What We Do
We offer free Personalized Snail Mail Bible Studies for Incarcerated and Returning Women through the USPS. Our staff of mentors, prayer team and admin is 100% volunteer across the country. English speaking Titus 2 model.
At Field of Flowers Bible Institute (FOFBI), we are dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth of incarcerated and returning women through personalized Bible studies delivered via traditional mail. Our mission is to encourage these women with the love of Jesus Christ, guiding them from their initial course through reentry and beyond.
We are seeking compassionate female volunteers to serve as mentors, whom we affectionately call “Florists.” As a Florist, you will dedicate approximately four hours each month to:
Reviewing and gently grading two pages of homework per lesson. Writing letters of encouragement to your assigned student. Praying for her spiritual growth and transformation.
This role allows you to fulfill the calling of Hebrews 13:3 with a postage stamp, pen, paper, the power of the Holy Spirit, and prayer. By mailing lessons and personal letters, you will help students plant deeper roots in their faith, fostering a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As a mentor, you will “cultivate seeds of faith,” assisting each “Flower” (student) to become all she was created to be, thereby bearing much fruit and positively impacting future generations.
Incarcerated women across the U.S. are waiting for godly women to come alongside them, offering encouragement and resources to transform lifestyles previously marked by sin and despair. Our goal at FOFBI is to support these women in correctional facilities, helping them develop strong biblical foundations and hope for the future, whether they are released or remain incarcerated.
If you feel called to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these women, please consider becoming a Florist. For more information and to obtain a Mentor Application, contact us at info@fofbi.com. Approved volunteer mentor as well as student must attest to sex assigned at birth to be Female (XX chromosome) as such Titus 2 commands. Failure to do so will result in inability to mentor or enroll.
