Church Planting Team

As a BARN intern, you will be part of a vibrant, hands-on ministry experience in France. Over one year, you’ll be involved in two main areas:

1. Serve in a House Church Community

+Participate in weekly gatherings and times of worship
+Help lead Bible studies, prayer times, and small group discussions
+Support outreach efforts and community events
+Build meaningful relationships through hospitality and discipleship

2. Assist with BARN Projects

* Join in various practical projects—this could include renovation work, event support, media and communications, or community outreach
* Contribute to the development and upkeep of BARN’s spaces and initiatives
* Be part of creative problem-solving and vision-building for ongoing mission work

Live and Grow in Community

* Share life with a team of like-hearted individuals
* Take part in rhythms of prayer, service, and mutual encouragement
* Grow spiritually through mentorship and intentional discipleship

Throughout the year, you'll gain real-world ministry experience, deepen your faith, and play a vital role in what God is doing through BARN in France.

What Are the Skills Needed? To serve effectively as a BARN intern, we’re looking for individuals who are spiritually mature, relationally gifted, and ready to step into both practical and pastoral roles. Essential Skills & Qualities *Ability to Teach and Preach: *Confident and biblically grounded in sharing God’s Word in both small and larger group settings *A Heart of Service:** Willing to serve others in practical, behind-the-scenes ways as well as in leadership *Relational & Pastoral Experience:** Able to connect with people from various cultural and social backgrounds with empathy and care *Cross-Cultural Sensitivity:** Open and respectful when engaging with different perspectives and ways of life *Language Skills:* * Speaks French, or * Willing to actively learn French during the internship *Additional Helpful Skills* * Experience in discipleship, mentoring, or small group leadership * Comfortable in house church or informal church settings * Flexible, self-motivated, and a good communicator * Willing to contribute to practical projects (e.g. hospitality, renovation, event support) We’re looking for individuals who love Jesus deeply and are ready to serve wholeheartedly—whether that means preaching a message, preparing a meal, or walking alongside someone in need.
