ECA is a Christian school, and all staff serve as volunteers (each must secure their own funding prior to joining us), keeping tuition affordable for the Christian worker families which we serve. ECA provides a quality Christian education for children whose parents minister in the Madrid area and in other parts of Europe and beyond. This is a key function of worker care that keeps families together, functioning more effectively in life and in ministry. A missionary couple called to serve in an education setting in southeast Asia would be ideal. We have about 200 children (400 before the pandemic) and 30 dedicated staff needing the leadership and guidance of a Christian administrator. The pay is below minimum wage compared to American standards but support can be raised. Free housing on campus which is a serene oasis despite being close to the main highway and the largest mall in the province of Bukidnon.

Cafe 1040’s Operations Team is a collection of talented specialists that apply their skill-set to nurture the exponential growth of the mission and vision of Cafe 1040. While every other team develops our program and the people to whom we minister, the Operations Team develops the organization itself, the structures, people, system, and projects that make this a great organization.

The Staff Support Raising Specialist works with staff from the point of hire through reaching 100% funding and resources them for ongoing stewardship of their partners.  This includes newly hired, current, and transferring staff.  The Specialist communicates on a weekly basis providing coaching and accountability in their support raising process.  The specialist will take full ownership of Support Raising Training including content, facilitation, and training.  They will continue to develop the support raising process including a yearly support raising refresher for all staff.

The Support Raising Coach works with newly hired, current, and transferring staff through the support raising process.  The Coach guides staff members through spiritually, emotionally, logistically, and strategically difficult seasons.  The Support Raising Coach trains skills, ministers to the heart, and supervises staff toward the goal of 100% funding with excellent partner stewardship.

Your job will be to provide administrative support to the International Team and Director.  You will help structure the Director’s days to be strategically productive by scheduling and communicating as needed.  Additionally, you will help in any International Team projects, task, and events that will further the mission of Cafe 1040. This position requires, by nature of the International Directors’ position, involvement with high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.

Your job will be to provide the necessary business support for our team in a closed country as they mentor students who are considering long-term work among the unreached. Though you will build cross-cultural relationships with local people and share the story of Jesus with them, your primary role will not be a cross-cultural missionary. Rather, you will be responsible for representing the business in an official capacity in the country of operation. This includes serving as a manager of liaison, representative, or branch offices and assisting with financial reports. Your duties may also include providing for some of the team’s administrative and logistical tasks.
