Innovative and ministry appropriate engineering is at the core of our technology-based solutions. This enables us to meet the unique ministry requirements of our partners. Interns apply mechanical, electrical/electronic and embedded software design, and other creative skills to the development of these solutions. This may include research, component and system level design, software development, prototype implementation, and system support. Help us provide reliable remote monitoring, renewable power, broadcasting and media systems that empower our ministry partners.

Where

We operate out of a 23,000 square foot facility located in Elkhart, Indiana. The facility includes standard office work areas, an electronics laboratory, equipment assembly areas, a media production center, and a machine shop.

When

A summer internship at SonSet Solutions is typically ten to twelve weeks in duration. We are flexible with starting and ending dates, as well as time off for family vacations and the like. We ask that interns commit to a minimum of 10 weeks of work over the course of the summer. You will work side-by-side with missionaries, volunteers and fellow interns on a small multidisciplinary team.

Skills

A SonSet Solutions Intern must: 1. Be an active follower of the Lord Jesus Christ with a desire to know him better 2. Be willing to uphold the SonSet Solutions Statement of Faith during your service with us 3. Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in your major
