We are looking for a positive, energetic, wonderfully creative individual who possesses the ability to work productively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to stay current on trends in book design and layout.

Duties:
 Design book covers
 Designing and layout of catalogs
 Designing and layout of CLC World Magazine
 Designing posters, postcards and bookmarks
 Designing brochures, flyers, event invitations and programs
 Designing web ads
 Designing social media ads
 Typesetting and interior design of CLC Publications titles
 Create pdfs to be sent to the printer
 Work with editorial department to make changes and corrections to books that have
been typeset
 Maintain database of text and digital files for all CLC titles
 Work with printers to ensure that correct files are used for all projects

Skills

Qualifications:  Minimum 5 years graphic design experience  Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite , specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator  Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite  College Degree or Associates degree in a related field is preferred  Photography experience is a plus Skills and Abilities Needed:  Team oriented, goal driven and able to meet deadlines  Able to take input from multiple sources and synthesize the data  Accepts feedback willingly and adapts accordingly  Able to prioritize tasks and work independently  Proven track record of success with previous employer  Ability to take creative risk within the scope of current publishing trends CLC Publications is the English language publishing house for CLC Ministries International. What We Will Do

The graphic designer/typesetter will work closely with the editorial team, retail managers, and sales coordinator to ensure the timely and accurate production of new books, reprints, catalogs and advertisements. In addition, the graphic designer/typesetter will design book covers and the interior of new books and reprints under the direction of the managing editor.
