Job Description Overview
As Human Resources Specialist, you will run our crucial HR systems that
including recruiting, hiring, and developing our staff of mobilizers and
missionaries. Our HR department focuses on developing programs, systems,
and people within Cafe 1040 to maximize our pursuit of our mission. You will
create, manage, and improve systems and processes as well as work on key
ministry projects. As a primary feature of your role, you will manage our staff
journey from recruiting to application and interviews through onboarding and
development all the way until eventual exit.

Specific Job Duties, and Responsibilities - Foster staff recruiting systems and initiatives
- Manage our staff applicant processes
- Assist with coordination and planning of Support Raising Trainings
- Facilitate staff onboarding processes in coordination with team leaders
- Assist with staff development projects and trainings
- Facilitate staff exit processes
- Execute HR tasks such as running payroll and tracking staff data
- Work closely with the Director of HR to coordinate and execute the widely
varied responsibilities of the Human Resources Department - Assist in meetings to brainstorm, organize, and implement plans for
continued growth - Support and uphold the policies, values, and statement of faith of Cafe
1040 - Maintain sustainable funding levels for the role through Cafe 1040
support-raising model - Actively take the opportunities to mobilize those people in the scope of
your influence toward involvement and investment in the mission and
vision of Cafe 1040
