What We Will Do

Duties and Responsibilities • Conducting out-patients duties. • In-patient care and responsibilities through ward rounds. • Assisting in theatre related day minor cases. • Referring patients to next level of care if need arises through contacting the next Doctor. • Treat and attend to newly presenting cases. • Addressing social and physical challenges to patients relevant for their illnesses. • Managing maternity and pediatric admitted patients • Performing Caesarean sections, and other minor operations on surgical patients if not a specialised physician. • Managing male and female surgical and medical wards • Administration and supervision of day-to-day function of the hospital • Attending workshops on hospital development and clinical updates • Monitoring and evaluation of hospital programs and projects • Financial overseer of all hospital transactions and fleet authorization • Contact person by the Medical Superintendent and the Church • Conducting clinical duties including ward rounds and OPD/OI patients review in line with Ministry of Health recommendations. • Report to the medical Superintendent for appointment of a board of investigation and hearing for disciplinary proceedings • Plan, Strategize and Implement activities to prevent disease outbreaks and occupational hazards among surrounding farm workers. • Chair Hospital executive meetings and Head of Departments meeting in liaison with the hospital sister in charge and the hospital administrator. • To deliver any other clinical services depending on the area of specialization and qualifications in keeping with the Ministry of Health in Zimbabwe guidelines
