The Registrar is a key position at Camp Beechpoint. The Registrar’s main tasks are to communicate with camper parents and group leaders to eliminate barriers and successfully enroll campers throughout the year to all camp programs as well as process scholarships. The Registrar’s ministry of compassion, respect, communication, and accurate enrollment is essential to loving the families with the love of God. The Registrar should have an active relationship with Christ, be a part of a church, be gentle and confident in communication and treat people with dignity as an overflow of the love God has given us.
General Responsibilities
Year-Round Responsibilities:
Coordinate registration, enrollment and scholarships for off season programming
Assist with hosting and serving off season events and outside group retreats
Assist Camp Director with various tasks and projects as assigned
Summer Responsibilities:
Manage camper registration, enrollment and payment
Work with group partners to register and enroll their campers
Coordinate communication with camper families
Maintain camper accounts in database
Collect and organize camper paperwork for follow up
Manage registration camp email account
Work with Camp Director to process camper scholarship requests
Coordinate and communicate with scholarship partners
Participate in summer camp programming (Sunday – Friday)
Qualifications
Have a sincere love for God and desire to see campers come to Jesus
Be in agreement with Camp Beechpoint’s mission, vision and statement of faith
Enjoy working with volunteers and staff of a variety of ages and comfortability
Have excellence in attitude and work ethic (organized, self-controlled, determined, emotionally mature, and ministry minded)
Have the desire and willingness to help us create new things together!
Be at least 21 years of age
