Mission Finder Podcast #22 | Season 2
Hosts: Andrew Michael Arroyo & Don Nava
In the latest episode of Mission Finder, we explore the profound joy of living under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Following Jesus is far more than a set of responsibilities; it is a privilege that brings deep fulfillment and purpose. By embracing the authority Christ has given us, we get to witness the Gospel transform lives firsthand.
Authority and Heavenly Celebration
The disciples in Luke 10:17 returned with joy after seeing the power of Jesus’ name in action. This same joy is available to us today. When we exercise our spiritual authority to help others and share the Good News, we don’t just impact earth—we join in the celebration of heaven, echoing the joy of the angels over every soul saved.
Finding Joy in the Hardship
Ministry is rewarding, but it isn’t always easy. The Apostle Paul serves as a powerful example in 2 Corinthians 6:4-10, where he recounts facing intense trials while remaining “always rejoicing.” His life teaches us to view challenges as opportunities for our faith to be tested and strengthened, allowing us to find divine joy even in difficult seasons.
The Power of Surrender
A life of mission begins with a prayer of surrender. By dedicating our lives to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we transition from self-rule to divine guidance. This act of “letting go” invites God’s wisdom and power into our daily routines, ensuring that our work is fueled by His strength rather than our own effort.
Your Unique Mission
Whether through small acts of kindness or sharing your personal testimony, every effort contributes to God’s kingdom. We encourage you to step out in faith and seek the Holy Spirit’s direction. Join us as we discover how to persevere through challenges and experience the lasting fulfillment that comes from a life dedicated to His mission.
