What We Will Do
During your mission trip, we will work with your youth to accomplish three goals.
The first and primary goal is service and evangelism. During the mission trip, your youth will work at a church or house where the person has given back to others doing various construction and yard work projects under the guidance of our staff. In the morning, we will take breaks from the project to go on prayer walks and pray for people in the community. In the afternoon, students will develop and run their own Vacation Bible School at a local Recreation Center, which can lead to gospel-centered conversations.
Our second goal is for students to grow in their faith. We accomplish this through morning individual devotion times and evening Bible studies. These are times for students to ask questions and find practical ways to apply their faith as they face the challenges of growing up in this world.
Our third goal is for students to grow and connect with each other. That is why we have specifically built-in times for students to fellowship, encourage one another, and also to be transparent with each other. Our evening Reflection Ceremony is a time of intentional encouragement, while Breaking Bread is when we allow students the opportunity to talk about the challenges that they are facing.
