Cincinnati, also known as “Queen City,” is a big city with a warm, small-town Southern charm. The city is home to baseball’s first professional team, the Cincinnati Reds. Local residents are blessed with a wide range of activities and entertainment, including free concerts on Fountain Square in the center of the city, beautiful parks along the Ohio River, one of the country’s oldest zoos, the National Underground Railroad Museum, the Creation Museum (just a short drive across the border in Kentucky), and the Midwest’s largest theme park, Kings Island. Oh, and did we mention the world-famous chili and barbecue ribs? Mmhmm. Cincinnati is the perfect destination for your youth to serve and have fun this summer. At Cincinnati Week of Hope, teenagers serve alongside local non-profit organization leaders and encounter incredible ministries and organizations committed to making a difference and pointing the way to Jesus.

What We Will Do
As your team members enter into the lives of others and build relationships with the people of Cincinnati, they’ll experience God working through them at projects such as these: –Serve the homeless through work with volunteers at a community garden. –Teach dance and literature to inner-city children at the local gospel mission. –Pack and sort supplies that will be sent to needy families in developing nations. –Lead activities for inner-city youth at a local Boys and Girls Club. –Prepare a camp facility for summer Christian camp. –Perform yard maintenance and assist in kennels for pet adoption with a dog rescue organization. –Help elderly residents at several assisted living centers with activities, games, and other needs.
