EnGage! Russia is designed to give participants hands-on experience with one of InterAct’s missionaries using various ministry outreaches and events to build relationships and to support the ministries of local churches in Siberia. The trip is based out of the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk. Outreach events will take on many forms including, but not limited to: English clubs, relationship-building events (hikes, movie discussions, picnics, etc.), and a trip to an unreached region.
The program is designed to give participants at least six weeks of exposure to the Russian culture and opportunities to build relationships with Russians.
During the trip, participants will
1) learn different strategies being used in Siberia for ministry;
2) interact with Russian believers to understand the joys and struggles of living for Christ in Siberia, and find ways to partner with them;
3) engage with unbelieving Russians so they will be exposed to the hope and joy found in a relationship with Christ, and
4) participate in a variety of events and outreaches that connect believers and unbelievers 5) take a short trip into an unreached area of Siberia along the Trans-Siberian Railway.
