Preteen Trip (Ages 10-12) If you have an adventurous spirit, enjoy ministering to children, and are not afraid to work, then a trip out to Teen Missions in Honduras just may be the team for you!

Skills

You only need willing hands and a willing heart! You will start your summer with two weeks at our primitive 250 acre training facility in Merritt Island, FL. All teams prepare for a variety of mission field conditions, attend Bible classes, and develop a church presentation, utilizing music, puppets, drama and testimonies. Each team will also receive specialized training according to their field project.

What We Will Do

After training, you will fly to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and bus two hours south to the Teen Missions base nestled in the mountains. You will share the love and hope of Jesus Christ through dramas, puppets, music and games as you play with the kids. Your team will help to continue paving a roadway so the vehicles don’t get stuck in the mud on their way up to the Teen Missions Bible, Missionary & Work (BMW) Training Center. You will also have evangelism opportunities in nearby parks, soccer fields and bilingual schools. At the end of this exciting trip, you will enjoy shopping for hammocks, machetes, jewelry and other precious souvenirs, as well as spending a day on the beach of the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
