We’re looking for a person of integrity who is passionate about finance and about seeing people become followers of Jesus. In this key role, you will help OM ministries around the world impact the kingdom of God by providing accountability for financial transactions and reporting. Join us and use your skills for God’s glory. Operation Mobilization (OM) exists to see vibrant communities of Christ-followers established among the least reached. OM’s role in the body of Christ is to motivate, develop and equip people for world evangelization, and to strengthen and help establish communities of Christ-followers, especially among the unreached in the Middle East, South and Central Asia and Europe.

We have opportunities for Finance Officers in multiple places around the world.

When

These opportunities start at 1 year commitments, preferably for 2 – 3 years or more.

Skills

Specific skills are dependent on the specific needs of each field. Basic skills required for all roles are: – high working knowledge of computers, excel spreadsheets, and financial computer systems, and a general knowledge of computer systems and networks – proven track record of financial management, responsible for systems implementation, oversight and management of a finance department – a degree in Finance and/or equivalent work experience for a minimum of 2 to 5 years – having a servant heart and a FAT attitude (Flexible, Adaptable and Teachable) – willingness to learn language if not already known

What We Will Do

If you have a heart for missions and want to use your valuable skill set in Finance, then we have a place for you! Use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. Duties may include providing accurate and sufficient financial information to the field leader in order to make ministry decisions, and to provide a measure of accountability in finance on the field and for OM internationally. Develop and maintain the strategic relations with financial partners, supporting churches, foundations, and prospective partners. Represent the interests and concerns of the field ministry leaders at the International Finance Committee meetings. And so much more.
