God has blessed us with beautiful partnerships in Kolkata, India. Our partners have asked Bold Hope to put together a team to come alongside the long-term work that they’re doing. During a mission trip to India, you are invited to join us as we serve alongside the local church by running children’s programs, visiting with youth who have been trafficked and exploited, and encouraging believers.
India is a country in dire need both physically and spiritually. Located in the 10/40 window, more than 99% of the population is unreached, never having heard the truth of the gospel. An overwhelming majority of Indians practice Hinduism, with Islam being the next most practiced religion. Part of your time of service will be spent in the largest red light district in all of India, found in Kolkata – women and children here are at-risk of being entered into the sex industry simply because of where they were born.

India Mission Trip Service Opportunities: Children’s ministries including visits to orphans and orphanages, feeding programs, support of at-risk and trafficked children and youth, VBS / church outreach using arts/music/drama/sports, support of local church and their church-planting work. Explore and learn how God is working in India – visit a seminary (and possibly teach if you are trained), English language teaching, after-school programs
Our partners in India believe that only the gospel can bring light in the darkness and that truth fuels all that they do. One of the most prominent ministries they are involved with is the holistic care and protection of women and men who have been victims of human trafficking. Their ministry includes secure homes where children and youth can live until they have a safe alternative, community development initiatives, programs for kids of sex workers, a seminary and partnerships with churches. We ask that you come with a heart willing to support this vision through service and encouragement. We will be joining the local church by visiting churches, schools, and children’s homes. We will also have the opportunity to visit with a local Bible college and its students.
