Have you been holding back from sharing the gospel with those around you out of fear? This mission team will enjoy getting to labor alongside the local church members as they reach out to their neighbors and engage in many different summer ministries.

The host congregation has been investing heavily in their community for the past twenty years and have seen the Lord doing amazing things and opening new opportunities for them to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ. You will get to help with their weekly KidZone program for community kids, help prepare for the VBS to be held the following week, get involved with their prayer table ministry in the heart of Wilkinsburg, help prepare the community gardens for planting and you may also get an opportunity to be involved in their home renovation efforts. Ages 16 and up.

Each summer, this host congregation undertakes many efforts to reach their neighbors with the gospel. They are eager for you to consider being a part of this team to help publicize the summer’s activities. This trip is only $600 plus travel to the site. That helps to offset the costs of food, housing, local travel, and ministry materials.

And if you fall in love with the ministry and the people in the church and the community, it may be possible for you to extend your time of service at very minimal cost (our four week mission is only $750 plus travel). So, if you’d like to grow in your confidence to share the gospel and want to grow in service to Christ and His church, please consider being part of this mission. Perhaps you might think of this as a Mission Camp experience.
