Jesus Film Mission Trips – South Pacific – Vanuatu (1376)
Vanuatu is a beautiful Pacific Rim nation, between Australia and Fiji. A small, independent country consisting of 84 islands, Vanuatu boasts bright blue lagoons, lush tropical forests, and coral seas. When you land in Vanuatu, you immediately sense that these islands are fairly untouched by mass tourism. While Christianity is considered the main religion, they are still deeply rooted in animism and ancestor worship, often mixing the two. Tribal carvings blended with minimal architecture serve as a reminder of their ancient culture and traditions. There is a deep need for the clarity of the gospel to sweep through these islands. We will be engaging with university students on a branch of the largest universities in the South Pacific. Using the JESUS film as well as our short films to bridge into spiritual conversations, we hope to share the gospel with those who need to know how to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Join us on this trip to Vanuatu where you will be a part of taking the gospel to those who need to hear. At Jesus Film Mission Trips, our vision is to take the gospel where Christ is not known (Romans 15:20). Our mission is to partner with national ministries by taking volunteers from the body of Christ on short-term trips to evangelize the least-reached using “JESUS” film products. With more than 40 mission trips available each year, our experienced team leaders provide safe and meaningful mission experiences for teams ranging from 5 to 30 participants. These teams travel to more than 30 different countries to distribute copies of the “JESUS” film in the local languages. The teams also host large outdoor film showing, resulting in many viewers coming to know Christ personally. Since 1997 we have taken more than 7,000 individuals to some of the most unreached people groups in the world.
