Crosswinds Missions Program was created as an extension of our residential counseling program for troubled teens, which takes place in the Dominican Republic at our residential boarding school, Caribbean Mountain Academy. For a teen struggling with serious issues, Caribbean Mountain Academy provides the perfect setting for them to take a step back and learn to appreciate what they have and gain a new perspective on God, relationships and life. When you join us to serve these young people and the surrounding communities, I think you will find it gives you a fresh perspective, too.

Nestled amid the Dominican Republic’s stunning natural beauty in Jarabacoa is the Caribbean Mountain Academy, a residential boarding school for teens, and your home during your mission trip.

Skills

Crosswinds mission trips offer a variety of projects to choose from, matching the interests and expertise of your participants to the needs of the community. Whatever service project your group chooses, a Crosswinds mission trip is sure to leave you with a strong sense of community and personal fulfillment unlike any other team-building experience.

What We Will Do

Your trip can be comprised of a construction, evangelism, or sports focus. Some teams will have a combination of all three. Crosswinds aims to create both an immediate and long-term impact with each visiting team. As each team is a bit different, each itinerary is customized to meet a team’s specific needs and goals. You will eat your meals prepared by our Dominican staff in our spacious gazebo alongside our staff and teens. You will sleep in our beautiful Goshen House on bunk beds. You will have the opportunity to go to church on our Campus and participate in daily devotions. Planning your trip with Crosswinds is simple! We’ll handle all the logistics of your trip and help you develop marketing materials to recruit team members.
