We at Bold Hope invite you to join us in serving the displaced refugees of Jordan. Located in the 10/40 window, Jordan is home to hundreds of thousands of Syrian and Iraqi refugees who’ve been displaced by ISIS, unrest and wars. Many of these refugees are not legally allowed to work and thus are unable to provide for their families. Refugees are living in temporary shelters, many of which are contaminated by mold and are unsafe.
Located in the 10/40 window, Jordan is a country that is 93% unreached, with the majority of people identifying as Muslim. Our partners are committed to loving their community and showing people Christ through their actions. They believe in a holistic approach to ministry in which both physical and spiritual needs can be met.
January-November – We are seeking 2-3 teams in this timeframe
We are seeking individuals, groups, and families who are willing to be conversational and to use relationships to share the love of Jesus in the 10/40 window through words, stories, and action. A few of the ways you may be able to share the gospel with Muslims are: Meeting with families in their home and sharing stores from life and the Bible, medical missions, children’s ministry, food distribution to refugees, prayer walking, simple construction
Through a school, medical clinic, food distribution, house repairs and various other ministries our partners reach their Muslim community and the refugees who’ve made this community their home. Visiting homes, hearing stories and developing relationships are central in all they do. The biggest barriers to the work they do are funding and volunteers to help move their initiatives forward – we aim to provide both.
