Where
Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries is based in Uganda, serving communities where the needs of orphaned, refugee, and vulnerable children are most pressing.
Our work will begin in:
Kalambi Village, Wakiso District – where our children’s home and ministry base are located.
Surrounding refugee and rural communities – reaching children and families in greatest need of care, education, and the hope of Christ.
As God provides, we plan to expand our reach to other districts of Uganda, offering holistic support and the Gospel to children and families who have been left without help or hope.
When
Our work at Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries is already underway through small-scale outreach and care initiatives. By God’s grace, we are committed to serving children and families now and into the future.
Immediate (Present Work): Providing food, education support, and discipleship to children in our care.
Short-Term (1–3 years): Strengthening our children’s home, expanding education programs, and reaching more refugee and vulnerable families.
Long-Term (Beyond 3 years): Establishing self-sustaining projects, expanding to new districts, and raising a generation of Christ-centered leaders who can impact Uganda and beyond.
Our mission is not bound by time—it is a lifelong commitment to see children’s lives transformed by the love of Jesus.
Skills
Volunteers play a vital role in strengthening the mission of Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries. By sharing their God-given gifts, they help equip children and communities with knowledge, confidence, and hope for the future.
We welcome volunteers who can offer skills in areas such as:
Education & Tutoring – teaching literacy, numeracy, computer studies, and languages.
Health & Wellbeing – training in hygiene, nutrition, counseling, and first aid.
Vocational Training – carpentry, tailoring, crafts, farming, electrical installation, and other trades.
Creative Arts – music, dance, drama, and art therapy for expression and healing.
Spiritual Growth – Bible teaching, discipleship, and mentoring children in their faith.
Administration & Capacity Building – project management, fundraising, communication, and leadership development.
By offering their skills, volunteers become part of a family that is shaping lives and building Christ-centered futures.
What We Will Do
At Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries, we are committed to bringing lasting change in the lives of orphaned, refugee, and vulnerable children. With God’s guidance, we will:
Provide Care & Shelter – create a safe, loving home where children can grow in dignity and hope.
Offer Education & Skills – ensure children receive quality education and practical skills to build a brighter future.
Nurture Faith in Christ – disciple children in the Word of God, raising them to know Jesus as their Savior and Friend.
Empower Families & Communities – support struggling families and communities with resources and training to break the cycle of poverty.
Advocate for Children’s Rights – give a voice to the voiceless and stand for the protection, wellbeing, and future of every child.
Through these efforts, we will demonstrate the love of Christ in action, transforming lives and building futures rooted in God’s Word.
