Medical Outreaches in Uganda

We have provided opportunities for people to serve on trips to Uganda, Africa for over 15 years and we love it! We now have a 40+ acre missions base that hosts hundreds of people every year for short-term missions and internship opportunities. Our Ugandan staff team consistently serves in surrounding villages and they joyfully lead individuals/teams throughout the year!

Our mission in everything we do is to mobilize, inspire and empower people to live on purpose while reaching out in love. We believe that everyone was created by God with a special purpose and plan. Our goal is to see that purpose discovered, nurtured and fulfilled. We’ve seen individuals’ passions ignited and dreams awakened after they’ve said “yes” to serve with us.

Come work alongside our medical team year-round as we serve local villages through medical provision. During these trips, we will go into the villages for medical outreaches. You will support our medical staff and team as they provide medical care, well-patient checkups, dental care, and community health education classes reaching 100-500 patients (depending on the team size). Join us and bring Gods kingdom in Uganda through the medical field!

We will pick you up at the Entebbe International Airport in Kampala. You will be brought to our beautiful base just North of Kampala, where you will stay the duration of your trip. Your meals will be provided on base by our cook, and at the end of your stay we will take you back to the airport. We look forward to hosting you! Skills

Medical training is required if you would like to serve in an official medical capacity alongside our local staff. If you would still like to learn about medicine in Uganda, but do not have training, you can serve in our clinic in ways that you can observe and learn.

What We Will Do

Each trip will include a 2-day medical outreach. The capacity in which you can serve alongside our team depends on what your desire and medical training is. Those without medical training will help our staff check in patients, take weights and temps, fulfill prescriptions, pray over patients, etc. Those with medical training will have the opportunity to take blood pressure, various labs and tests, join our doctors as they diagnose, etc. You will also have the opportunity to join a variety of other ministry outreaches during the week. Some outreaches may include: – Home visits to children and families in our sponsorship program – Elderly visits (loving on them with quality time and service around their home/land) – Community service projects to homes in the villages (helping families clean around the home, small building projects, handing out mosquito nets) – Agriculture outreaches (join community trainings in Farming God’s Way practices and participate in planting/digging) Visit local markets, a prison, and local churches to share the gospel and pray over people – Lead fun games and bible lessons at primary schools, our weekly Hot Lunch program, and our weekly “Say No To Hunger” sponsorship program – Connect with the youth through teaching bible studies and life skills at high schools and our weekly “Ignite” youth program – Potentially lead VBS and youth events at the Dream Center (our youth center) – Help tutor small groups of children during our Bridge tutoring program – Support medical staff and pray over patients at our medical clinic and birthing center – Be a part of clean water well commissioning’s
