Belize Basecamp offers Futball, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Kickball, Ultimate Frisbee and more! We can use ANY type of Sports Ministry as a way of spreading the gospel !! Teams can choose to serve in the local parks near our basecamp in Belmopan or they can choose to serve in remote villages. We would LOVE to get more teams to do some sports camps out on the island at least two or three days per trip as well! The island does not get a lot of mission teams and we have great people out there we work with. Added bonus, it’s an island ON the Caribbean!
We take teams at our Belize Basecamp all year long! Winter trips are a great time to come! Teams come down for Spring Break and of course Summer is our busiest time! But whenever the time is right for your team we will have everything ready for your stay! And we help customize the trip itinerary with you in the planning stages…
Ability to play a sport and share the gospel! We’ve had teams do sports clinics, play friendly games, do mini tournaments, and even had one team do a fun Special Olympics day with some of the local special needs kids. We can customize the trip to fit your team! We LOVE using sports as a way to spread the gospel!
Imagine a trip where you wake up and climb Mayan ruins and explore for a few hours before having lunch at Clarissa Falls were you can cool off while your lunch is prepared. Then doing and after school sports clinic where you share the gospel or personal stories with little ones andthen maybe show a ministry movie in a park for the community! Or a trip where all you do is teach skills and work with young players all week and follow it up with a mini tournament on the weekend! We have lots of local parks, fields and courts to fit your needs and we help line up everything in advance for your trip! We don’t plan your trip for you, we plan your trip with you!
