By learning actual real-life skills in areas like building, electric, automotive, lanscaping, painting construction, sewing, cooking and more, you become more effective in how you help those around you. At Summer Impact you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and use them as you serve the community. Skills taught will vary depening on what program you are apart of and needs of the community you will serve.
What We Will Do
Summer Impact is a 6-week Christian discipleship and missions training program for young adults ages 18–25, based in Canby, Oregon. Designed for those looking to grow deeper in their faith and live out the great commission, this immersive experience includes Bible teaching, local outreach, leadership development, and spiritual formation.
Whether you’re considering a gap year, exploring a call to missions, or seeking a summer alternative to over seas missions, Summer Impact offers a powerful launchpad for life and ministry. Housing, meals, classes and ourtreach are
included, making it one of the most accessible Christian training programs in the Pacific Northwest.
Every week you’ll jump into hands-on outreach. Over the six weeks you’ll complete more than 100 hours of service through on-site projects and off-site partnerships. You’ll learn practical skills, get real training, and use what you learn to help people who actually need it—not in theory, but face-to-face
