A3 began in Japan in 1967 as Language Institute For Evangelism sending thousands of North American young people to teach conversational English and partner with local Japanese churches for evangelism and church planting. In the 1980s, LIFE began training Japanese pastors and spawning several creative ministries. The heart of the work was to start and strengthen Japanese churches through evangelism, church planting, and leadership training.
Around 2000, LIFE became “Asian Access” as it expanded ministry throughout 20 countries in Asia over the next 20+ years. We were also known as “A2” during that ministry phase. But we were invited into new regions in the MIddle East, North Africa, Europe, and the Americas. So in 2023, we became A3 as we accepted the global call, no longer restrained by geographic boundaries.

We are a global leader network that accelerates the capacity of leaders. We equip and unify leaders through a deep learning community, so they experience change from the inside out and hopefully make a significant Kingdom impact. It all starts with selecting key servant leaders.
Our process is centered around the belief that a Spirit-led community can change the culture of an entire nation—virtually anything—toward Christ’s purposes. We give leaders a structure to connect and sustain each other, accelerate their own ministries, and expand the love of Jesus throughout their communities.
