Alabaster was founded on December 1, 2021, with a vision to create sustainable impact through skill development and community empowerment. What began as a small, grassroots initiative has steadily grown into a structured organization working across multiple underserved communities.
Over the past four years, Alabaster has trained over 100 women across three key locations, equipping them with practical, income-generating skills. Several of these women have gone on to start their own small businesses, creating independent sources of income for themselves and their families. Alongside skill training, the work has also included personal support through counseling, helping individuals and families navigate challenging circumstances and rebuild stability.
As the work expanded, Alabaster formalized its operations through MSME registration and obtained necessary licenses, including FSSAI and Import Export Code (IEC), enabling it to scale responsibly. Despite this growth, the organization has remained rooted in consistent, community-based engagement, prioritizing long-term impact in the lives of those it serves.
