What began as a group of physicians and dentists getting together to discuss their experiences in doing short-term healthcare mission projects and long-term careers in service to Christ resulted in BMDF – an organization of physicians and dentists with the initial mission statement, “Responding to God’s call through healthcare.”

BMDF has continued to evolve and now welcomes all categories of licensed healthcare professionals, as well as any who share an interest in our values and objectives.

Baptist Medical Dental Fellowship now welcomes all categories of licensed healthcare professionals, as well as any who share an interest in our values and objectives. We have a focus on service, mentorship, and fellowship. BMDF ministers through Christian medical and dental mission projects and disaster relief projects in the United States and around the world.

Many opportunities worldwide, including dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants in the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf. Needs for family care physicians, OB/GYNs, pediatricians, general practitioners, ophthalmologists, etc.

We also provide support for long-term healthcare missionaries, grants for students and residents going on short term healthcare mission projects, and a growing mentorship program for healthcare professional students. We seek to be a fellowship of likeminded healthcare professionals, and we have worked to establish valuable relationships with other Medical Dental Fellowships in multiple countries.
