Be One Together strives to make disciples of the nations which in turn impacts this country and the globally connected community. We understand the need to expand ministry across a multi-generational perspective including ministry with the international diaspora and other cultures. We provide services to our missionaries to help them succeed in their areas of expertise through member care, accountability, and connecting them with resources where possible.
In 2005 Voltaire Cacal met Mike and Mary Pinkerton when he served as chairman of the Dallas Ethnic Ministries Summit. Be One Together in ministry is based upon the Word of God and our personal walk by faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible to be verbally inspired, inerrant in the original writings, and the only infallible and authoritative Word of God for faith and life. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Christ in His virgin birth in His sinless life in His miracles in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood in His bodily resurrection in His ascension to the right Hand of the Father in His present rule as Head of the Church in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe man was originally created in the image of God. He sinned by disobeying God; thus, he was alienated from his Creator. That historic fall brought all mankind under divine condemnation. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation and forgiveness of all who are separated from God by sin and rebellion.
We believe salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of redemption of Jesus Christ, by the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, and by whom the Church, the Body of Christ, is gifted and equipped to serve and glorify God.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are lost unto damnation and them that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across races, genders and classes. We believe Christ has commanded His Church to preach the gospel and make disciples of all people. We believe the church is the bride of Christ for whom Christ will return.
We will accomplish this by appointing like minded evangelical missionaries in multi-ethnic ministries throughout the globe. Our member (or missionaries) will be involved in outreach and discipleship ministries in a variety of communities and cultures, and in connections with the local Christian church. We will be engaged in networking with other ministries and churches for the purpose of collaborating with them to accomplish our stated purposes. Entrepreneurial members will be encouraged to guide their own ministries. We will provide encouragement and direct them toward available resources.
