Our History

Bertram Bobb Bible Camp was established in 1971 by Rev. Bertram E. Bobb, a respected leader of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Bertram was the founder and President of Christian Indian Ministries, Inc.. CIM and BBBC were founded to minister to the Native American people.

Our Mission

Bertram Bobb Bible Camp exists to provide a Christian camping experience for the youth of the Choctaw Nation and SE Oklahoma.
The basic purpose of the camping program of BBBC is to present Jesus Christ to campers in such a way that those who are not Christians will desire to trust Christ as Savior and those who are Christians come to a better understanding of what it means to live a life that will glorify God.

This will be accomplished through a structured program utilizing Bible study, music, Scripture memorization, recreation, and fellowship in a Christ-centered environment. It is our conviction that the campers can have fun and at the same time seriously consider their relationship to Christ

What We Do

Since BBBC’s establishment in 1970, through the generosity of individuals and organizations, thousands of children and youth of Southeast Oklahoma who would not otherwise have had the opportunity, have enjoyed summer camp and heard the life-transforming “Good News” of Christ.

We are uniquely an evangelistic camp with a mission of reaching the lost youth of our area. 90 percent of our campers are lost or unchurched.
