Breakaway Outreach is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1995 by Jimmy and Cindy Larche. With a vision of helping kids “breakaway” from a troubled past, the movement began primarily as a ministry to at-risk teens in South Florida juvenile detention centers.
Over the years, the ministry has grown into an international missions network that has helped shape gospel movements in eight countries. We are compelled by a “God-sized” vision that every vulnerable child from the margins of Chattanooga to the ends of the earth, might have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel message—and be afforded critical pathways for social resilience.
Through local, regional, and global partnerships, we seek to mobilize communities and to equip indigenous leaders for the purpose of creating and sustaining positive outcomes for young people.
No one should have to face hardship alone—especially kids. We live in a society where millions of children are facing adverse conditions that put them at-risk of transitioning successfully into adulthood.
