Chamomile school was founded 13 years ago for Czech children. It was established on Christian work within the church and very much inspired by international Christian schools – Christian International School of Prague and Christian schools in Uppsala, Sweden.
Around the same time, when our school was founded, other 6 projects were founded across the Czech Republic, which usually work as mission schools and schools for Christian students. This was due to a very specific environment in Czechia.

We are a Christian school, but Czech legislation doesn’t always allow us to openly teach Christianity. We however create an academic environment, in which there is freedom of expression. In ethics class, Christianity is taught openly, with the consent of parents. We also teach Christianity openly in music class. We do missionary work through our school to our students and parents.
Our core values are internal integrity, independence, responsibility, respect to individual students and families, creativity, teamwork and cooperation.
Our school educates students from the age of 6 to 22 years – from their early years till their high school graduation.
Our school divides into the first level of elementary school (grades 1.-5.), middle school (grades 5.-6.), and project Teen (2nd level of elementary school – grades 6.-9.), and 4-year high school (freshman-senior).
We organize extracurricular activities and clubs. We organize and participate in the Association of Christian Teachers, which unites the work of teachers in the Czech Republic. We work on further development of the teaching methodology and share many traits with the Montessori projects.
We cooperate with the A.C.E. School of Tomorrow (https://www.aceschooloftomorrow.com/) We are a school under Christian Education (https://www.christian.education/) We cooperate with local churches. We do missionary work through our school to our students and parents.
