City of Refuge

Our History

City of Refuge or CDR as it is locally known started on October 6, 2014. CDR was started to give local university students a place where they could be free from alcohol and drugs and have a place of their own to do homework, meet with friends, or just hang out.

Our Mission

City of Refuge Exists to:
Serve and disciple young people at risk so that they know God and are transformed by Him.

Our Values

We form youth leaders committed to discipleship through service.
Our organization has contextual responses to the cultural needs of young people at risk.

What We Do

A place where Bolivian young adults can come as they are and learn about the love of Jesus! Whether it is eating some food, enjoying some coffee or doing homework, at CDR everyone is welcome to come enjoy our place. Pool table, board games, Karaoke, Mexican Bingo, live bands, or our ESL classes, we have something for everyone.
We lead groups of volunteers to local group homes and shelters, teaching young people to love others as Jesus loved us.
Join us each Wednesday for CDR Church where we share a meal, fellowship, and share the Word of God.
