Cybermissions

Cybermissions was founded in Australia in 1994 and was originally known as Eternity Online Magazine and was one of the first online Christian ministries. We moved to Manila in 2001 and became the Asian Internet Bible Institute, then to the USA in 2004 and eventually took the new name of Cybermissions. We are tightly focused on digital ministry, Bible teaching and missions.

Our History

Cybermissions was founded in Australia in 1994 and was originally known as Eternity Online Magazine and was one of the first online Christian ministries. We moved to Manila in 2001 and became the Asian Internet Bible Institute, then to the USA in 2004 and eventually took the new name of Cybermissions. We are tightly focused on digital ministry, Bible teaching and missions.

Our Mission

To use computers and the Internet to facilitate the Great Commission, especially by providing theological education and discipleship materials to the least served.

Our Values

We are a broadly evangelical interdenominational missions organization that follows the Apostle’s Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Formula of Chalcedon and the Lausanne Covenant. We welcome all bible-believing born-again Christians. We minister mainly to “those who most consider least” especially indigent pastors in the developing world. We value simplicity, faithfulness and integrity. We use funds well.

What We Do

Cybermissions provides free or low cost Bible and ministry training that can be done on computers, tablets and mobile phones.
We partner with pastors, churches, evangelists, church-planters and smaller denominations to help themwith their training requirements. Cybermissions “waters” these movements ofthe gospel and God causes the growth.
At the time of writing we have 1260 users in our Harvestime International Institute which provides a low-cost A.A degree in Biblical Ministries. We also have 188 partner churches in various stages of running Harvestime. There are6000+ people receiving free ebooks and daily devotionals. As well as this we have hundreds of thousands visiting our various training websites each year and listening to our shortwave and FM radio broadcasts across Africa.

Cybermissions works to fill the training gaps in the Great Commission. Many cannot access Bible and ministry training because of remote location, cost, time constraints, or physical risk.

Most of these Christian leaders are bi-vocational, they both work a normal job and pastor a church. They only have a few hours a week to study and they need to study at their own pace.

They require the training they need, to be available on devices that they already own, in the time they have available, and at a price they can afford.

Cybermissions moves with the “movers”. We train highly motivated students who are prepared to overcome the obstacles in their lives in order to gain relevant Bible and ministry skills.
