Since 1991, Emerald Youth Foundation has worked to support Knoxville’s youth and prepare generations of Godly community leaders. Emerald Youth has engaged more than 30,000 children and young adults in a variety of community programs over nearly three decades. Every year, Emerald Youth serves more than 3,000 children, teens and young adults in the heart of Knoxville through faith, learning and health programs.
We’ve been working closely with the Knoxville, Tennessee community since the late 1980s, when we began a summer outreach ministry designed to support city youth.
Our mission is to raise up a large number of city youth to love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders who help renew their communities.
We, a group of people who grew up in the places in which we serve and others who have joined the Kingdom cause from other neighborhoods, share an unwavering and accountable commitment to an increasing organizational culture of faith, relationships, learning, health.
