Hope Walks

The vision for clubfoot care began in 2006 as a program of a larger surgical nonprofit. As they spent countless hours providing surgical correction for older children with untreated clubfoot, they realized their time and resources would be better spent treating children at birth using simple casts and braces.

An early intervention clubfoot treatment program was developed, and with such tremendous need and impact, the program rapidly grew. With increasing opportunities, Hope Walks was established to focus solely on eliminating disability from clubfoot by empowering local providers and ensuring early identification and treatment. To date, more than 155,000 children have been enrolled in treatment globally.

What We Do

Hope Walks works to ensure children with clubfoot and their families receive proper clubfoot treatment and support through the provision of quality care from the local church and support from trained local healthcare providers enabling these children to thrive as healthy human beings able to pursue their God-given talents.

Through the clinical training and mentoring of national healthcare providers and the provision of quality treatment materials, we partner with the national healthcare system to enable complete, quality, early treatment for children under the age of two born with clubfoot, at no cost to the family.

Through the recruitment and training of local Christian staff, we support a local parent advisor for each partner clubfoot clinic. Our parent advisors develop deep relationships with families to provide education and support, helping meet their spiritual and emotional needs. This critical aspect of our program provides the foundation for our work to demonstrate and proclaim Christ and see children walk free from the disability of clubfoot.
