InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA

The Purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is to establish and advance at colleges and universities witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture and God’s purposes in the world

Our History

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA officially began in November, 1941, with three staff on loan from Canada. But our roots go back to the University of Cambridge, England in 1877. There, a group of Christian students began to meet together to pray, study the Bible, and witness to fellow students.
