Jeff Cherubin Domond Foundation

The Jeff Cherubin Domond Foundation is a Christian organization working together with church leaders in the community of Marbial. We offer leadership development, financial, educational and medical assistance to the local communities. And while these communities are the focus of our efforts, our outreach extends to others areas, wherever the need arises. We created the Jeff Cherubin Domond Foundation to celebrate Jeff’s life. In his memory, we formed this foundation to create real and lasting changes in the lives of children living in the rural communities of Marbial, Haiti.

These children, whom might otherwise be forgotten, are in desperate need of the most basic essentials of life, such as nutritious foods, educational tools and medical assistance. By enriching their lives we ensure that Jeff’s spirit lives on through the gifts of service and fellowship to our fellow man.

As Christians, we serve anyone in need, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender. Our goal is to eradicate the plight of poverty one child, one family or one community at a time. With your generous support, contributions and prayers we can make poverty a thing of the past. We can erase the desperation and hopelessness that threatens the dreams and aspirations of the children living in Marbial and other parts of Haiti.

Our History

Jeff Cherubin Domond born June 15, 1982 in Pasadena, California was the first son of his father, Joseph Magellan Domond and his mother, Rose-Rita Domond. He grew up to be a lovely child with many special gifts such as a passion for music, love for people especially children, and most importantly a kind heart. Jeff was always ready to help anyone. Jeff attended grammar school at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School in Claremont California and then later attended Damien High School in San Dimas, California. Jeff was currently attending Cal State Fullerton as a senior, with a communication Major, awaiting graduation in 2005 when he was called to be with the Lord on September 6,2004. Jeff’s life on this earth was very short, but we know that the Lord had a purpose. We knew from the bottom of our heart that we had to look deep and find out why he took him at such an early age. We needed to discover what was the call that GOD had for us in Jeff’s memory. We were guided by the Holy Spirit and founded the Jeff Cherubin Domond Foundation in Claremont, California. Our mission is dedicated to the people of Marbial, located in the southeastern part of Haiti, our homeland. Jeff always embraced his parents heritage who immigrated from Haiti. They shared their wonderful heritage of family, education, and honor with their children. It is with all of these in mind that we decided to mold the foundation in his honor focusing on education and health care the needy. The foundation is guided by Jeff’s most desired wish for children to be happy and for them to have the basis for a healthy life. He adored children. In this venture, we are able to capture his smile through these lovely children that are benefiting of a normal life. We know that Jeff is waving and chanting next to our Lord when he sees these children smiling, reading, dancing, and learning. We educating these children, ministering others, handing necessities and providing medical cares to those who are desperately in need.
