JESUS Film Mission Trips was started in the 90’s to send teams around the world to get the JESUS Film shown and distributed in every country. With that goal accomplished, in 2005 our focus narrowed to reaching the least-reached people groups. For 20 years, we have been helping to resource the mission field, launch ministries and give momentum to spiritual movements around the world.
With more than 40 mission trips available each year, our experienced team leaders provide safe and meaningful mission experiences for teams ranging from 5 to 30 participants. These teams travel to more than 30 different countries in Africa, Asia, Europe to distribute copies of the “JESUS” film in the local languages. The teams also host large outdoor film showing, resulting in many viewers coming to know Christ personally. Since 1997 we have taken more than 7,000 individuals to some of the most unreached people groups in the world.
To engage everyone with JESUS by resourcing field ministries, mobilizing volunteer resources, and leveraging field-driven JESUS Film Project strategies.
We believe someone shouldn’t have to learn another language in order to receive the gospel message. We believe the gospel needs to be taken to unreached people groups and be presented in a way they can understand. Some people groups may not have access to the gospel without outside help. We want to give everyone at least one chance to hear the gospel. Our partners in the field build the spiritual movement through follow up and discipleship.
Jesus Film Mission Trips - What We Do
As part of Cru, Campus Crusade for Christ International and The JESUS Film Project, we use our connections to prioritize and set up two-week mission trips where the greatest needs are. The commitment with our partners in the field assures ongoing follow-up.
Each mission trip is tailored to meet the needs of those we are working with to help them accomplish their goals. Using three main strategies: 1) public film showings, 2) distributing DVD’s and materials, 3) JESUS Film App evangelism and training, we adapt the trip for the location and need. Half of our trips go into countries where we can work openly. The other half go into countries where we must operate discreetly.
Our trips are designed for the beginner and seasoned veteran to join. Most trips throughout the year are for adults of all ages, but we do offer some family-friendly trips in the summer. Each trip is led by a professional mission trip leader. Our desire is have a safe and productive mission trip that allows the ministry to continue long after the trip.
If you’re in college, a recent graduate, considering a mid-career change, or ready to retire, short term mission trips are a great way to participate, and allows you to explore your options for the future. Come join us.
