Kassanda Children’s Aid was founded in 2012 as a nonprofit, faith and community-based organization, operating in Mubende District in Central Uganda. It was officially launched in 2014 by a Canadian volunteer, who gave it a benefit of hope. It is officially registered at the district level where it obtained certificates of operation and is highly recognized to carry out humanitarian work .KCA is governed under the laws of Uganda for non-government organizations, as a community-based, non-profit charitable organization. Its operating management includes the following: Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Patron, and five executive members. KCA’s main goal is to carry out activities towards achievement in health, poverty eradication, education, as well as providing spiritual needs of Other Vulnerable groups like Orphaned and Other Vulnerable Children, the Elderly and People with Disabilities
