Liberty University School of Aeronautics

Over the last 15 years, Liberty University School of Aeronautics degree programs have grown from four students to over 1,700, becoming one of the largest faith-based aviation programs in North America. Our desire is to grow leaders one at a time who know their identity, thrive in their faith, and love others in Christ to become difference makers.

Vision: Impact the world for Christ as the preeminent center of aerospace education
Mission: Equip, mentor, and send Champions for Christ into the aerospace community

In addition to the Lynchburg-based residential program, students may seek a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics degree through our Flight Training Affiliate program as a Liberty University Online student.

The School of Aeronautics also offers a Certificate Course that prepares students for the FAA Airframe and Powerplant mechanic ratings through a 12-month residential accelerated course.
