What We Do

MedShare provides collection barrels in hospitals throughout Georgia, California and metropolitan New York for healthcare providers to recycle unused, unexpired medical supplies. 19,000 volunteers come to our three national locations to sort and box those supplies so that recipients may order exactly what they need. Each recipient hospitals orders approximately 1,000 boxes of supplies and 15-30 pieces of biomedical equipment. MedShare then ships those via ocean container to countries in the developing world. Our goal is to strengthen health systems around the world.
