Mission Nannys

Mission Nannys has nanny opportunities throughout the world. As a nanny you can help missionary families in facing the usual needs of a growing family.  These are compounded by the many challenges of their mission service. There are different customs and foods, often the need to learn the local language, and to grow their ministry efforts. Missionary families need tutors for their children. The pressure and need to reach a good balance can be difficult, especially when very young children are involved. Over the years we’ve learned that having a mission nanny to come along beside them with skills to help with the family needs can be a huge blessing. That person could be YOU!

That’s why we created MissionNannys.org to help with childcare, homeschool and other tasks so missionaries can serve. Volunteers from youth to seniors, can enhance a missionary family’s effectiveness in proclaiming God’s Word. Spend your gap year or school breaks as a nanny or au pair in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America and more. We have childcare jobs available throughout the world offering free room and board!

Our History

Mission Nannys was founded by Betty Sullins in 1990 when she had a vision of sending mature Christian women to serve missionary families in their need.

Our Mission

We seek to glorify God among mission families through the domestic and teaching services of mature, humble women who volunteer to travel and meet particular needs. As of the end of 2013, we have sent more than 200 women, young and old, for this purpose.

Our Values

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

What We Do

Mission Nanny volunteers will lovingly assist a missionary family by helping to share in their daily routines, their burdens, their joys, and their commitment to Christ. We seek to glorify God among mission families through the domestic and teaching services of mature, humble women who volunteer to travel and meet particular needs.
