Multiplicados began in 2018 as a youth-led initiative in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. In its earliest stage, the team focused on reaching some of the most vulnerable areas—particularly “red zones” and landfill communities—by providing food and basic support to families in extreme poverty.
As the work grew, it transitioned from informal outreach into a more structured project focused on the integral development of children ages 3–14. During these early years, the organization distributed over 50,000 meals across multiple communities, addressing urgent needs while building trust and relationships.
Over time, Multiplicados expanded into a more comprehensive model known as “Escuelas Integrales” (Integral Schools)—programs that combine education, nutrition, health, sports, and arts to support the whole child.
Today, Multiplicados operates as a Guatemalan volunteer-led organization working to transform communities affected by poverty, risk, and limited access to education. Its mission has grown to include not only social support, but also discipleship and faith-based development, aiming to impact both the physical and spiritual lives of children, youth, and families.
