International Project’s EQUIP is a one-year cross-cultural church planting training in partnership with various missions organizations. Reach out to those groups in New York City who have not been exposed to the gospel. Work alongside experienced church planters while being trained in cross-cultural ministry and reproducible church planting.
Kevin and his wife Jeanne both have a passion to see the gospel taken to the nations. In 1998, they moved to NYC to help begin NYC International Project (now International Project). For the first 12 years of their ministry, they focused on reaching unreached people groups on NYC campuses, at the United Nations and in various communities. In 2010, Kevin launched the EQUIP program, which focuses on training cross cultural church planters. International Project now has multiple teams reaching unreached people groups in the city. These teams have seen many come to Christ, and a network of churches has been started in NYC and abroad.
Everything that we do flows out of our vision of seeing church planting movements among unreached people groups by engaging diaspora internationals and ethnic communities.

Diaspora Ministry-We believe that the increase of diaspora communities has given us a God ordained opportunity to reach unreached people groups that, for political and various other reasons, are far more difficult to reach in their homelands. We believe reaching diaspora unreached people groups is incredibly strategic and want to be a part of God’s work in bringing the nations to Himself through migration.
Unreached People Groups-We desire that all peoples have the opportunity to hear and accept the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we believe that God has commanded His people to take the gospel to all nations. We intentionally focus on those people groups that have limited access to the gospel.
Disciple Making Movements (DMM)-Our vision is not just to reach individuals but communities and people groups. We strive to initiate disciple-making movements (DMM) and, therefore, teach and utilize highly reproducible methodologies in outreach and discipleship.
Church Planting- We value church planting because it is the only viable, long-term solution for our fallen world. We also believe that the church is the vehicle through which God will continue to reach the world. Missionary Training- During our 10-month EQUIP missionary training, participants will learn principles that lead to reproducible church planting and develop hands-on ministry skills while strategically implementing new ministry initiatives among diaspora unreached people groups.
