Operation Inasmuch

Operation Inasmuch was founded in 1995 at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC, as a one-day mission blitz. The church was so excited after that first event that it became an annual effort, resulting in neighboring churches asking how to do the same thing. Inasmuch became a 501c3 in 2007. Since 1995, we have trained and mobilized over 3,200 churches in compassion ministry.

Our History

Operation Inasmuch was founded in 1995 at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC, as a one-day mission blitz. The church was so excited after that first event that it became an annual effort, resulting in neighboring churches asking how to do the same thing. Inasmuch became a 501c3 in 2007. Since 1995, we have trained and mobilized over 2,300 churches in compassion ministry in 24 states and 5 countries.

Our Mission

Operation Inasmuch invigorates the body of Christ – the church – to live out the Gospel through daily acts of compassion:
– Serving the un-served
– Loving the un-loved
– Reaching out to the un-churched.

Our Values

We adhere to the orthodox confessions of the Christian faith. Our core values include:
– Obedience to the Biblical mandate to demonstrate God’s love.
– Support for the local church.
– Desire to reflect God’s heart of compassion.
– Ministry to those outside of the church.
– Focus on innovation.
– Commitment to integrity.

What We Do

Operation Inasmuch is a worldwide ministry that comes alongside churches and pastors to equip and motivate them to obey the biblical mandate to minister to the “least of these.” Using the Inasmuch model of compassion ministry, we empower believers to live out their calling to serve others and experience the joy that comes from serving. We encourage pastors who want to see their church connected in their community but don’t have the time or training to do it on their own. We show believers how they can create opportunities to share the gospel by doing the gospel.
