A non-denominational Christian relief and development organization that serves people in need around the world. We run development aid projects and is active in disaster response. We are looking for staff, mainly in Central Asia, with appropriate training and experience.
The ORA Kinderhilfe is a Christian child-care center. Since 1981 we take care of children in need. The name ora is originally used for “orphans, refugees and aid”, meaning “orphans, refugees and aid”. At the same time “ora” comes from the Latin word “orare” (praying) and means: bete! That is, we are aware of our responsibility before God. In this sense, we are committed to justice and act in partnership with everyone involved. For as creatures of God, we all have an inestimable dignity!
All men are created and loved by God. So we strive to protect the children entrusted to us as siblings as in a family and to accompany their growing up. We build on lively and open relationships – as in a healthy family. And specifically, between the children we are working for and their supporters. We advocate justice: children and adults in need deserve more than our compassion. They deserve justice. We advocate that every person can lead an independent life in dignity, freedom and peace.
Become part of the ORA family and change your childhood with a sponsorship or donation. Especially with a sponsorship you help sustainability and effectively.
With a small monthly donation, you can ensure that a child can eat healthy and enough each day. It can go to school and is provided medically. As a sponsor, you will regularly receive information about the development of your sponsored child and mail from him. You can write to your godmother and visit it. Your help is transparent, direct and close. Like in a family.
