Palacaguina Christian Academy

The town of Palacaguina is located in northern Nicaragua, one of the poorest parts of Central America. Palacaguina Christian Academy (PCA) was founded in 2016 as just a preschool with the goal of providing high quality, accessible education to children living in the area. This goal was put into practice by teaching English daily starting in PreK 3 and by implementing Christian values not only in Christain classes and in chapel, but in all parts of their education. Parents were and continue to be interested in the education of their children and excited about this opportunity for them to learn English and learn Christian values.

What We Do

We are a private school that currently serve 3 levels of preschool, primary school (1st-6th grade), and 2 grades of secondary school (7th-8th grade). However, with every year we are open, we add on another grade until we are a complete preschool, primary school, and secondary school (PreK 3 – 11th grade).
What makes us different than public schools is our Christian education classes for all grades, as well as a more rigorous English program with the hopes of all students graduating with intermediate to advanced English skills.
As a private school, we charge monthly tuition for all our students, but each child has a sponsor that pays 80% of their tuition ($42). We also have additional scholarships for families with additional financial struggles so that PCA is accessible to all.
