Project Ruth

Project Ruth is a Dominican Republic based missions outreach of The CTC Network. We are a faith based group working to develop training and leadership programs for youth and young adults. Our History

Construction began in La Florida Dominican Republic on May 5th 2015 on a community center and medical clinic, the initial construction was completed in August 2015. An expansion project is nearing completion for a dental wing and short-term living quarters for visiting teams as well as modest living quarters to be made available for medical staff. The medical clinic is staffed and administrated by the Dominican government as part of a cooperative effort.

Our Values

Form a partnership with government and Christian community leaders to: Provide holistic services to the families of La Florida Distribute food, clothing, toiletries, and school supplies Develop and facilitate character development programs in local schools and churches Provide community leadership seminars and workshops Provide consistent healthcare services in the community

What We Do

The facilities in La Florida include a medical clinic, church and community gathering facility, dormitory style housing for 16 short-term missionaries, community thrift store for clothing outreach and an apartment for a full-time on-site nurse. Construction is nearing completion to provide space for a dental clinic. The medical clinic is also used to distribute personal hygiene items, diapers, first aid kits and more to the residents.The medical clinic is open 5 days a week and serves between 75 and 150 residents per week. Future expansion projects include a small home for a full-time pastoral couple to serve the community.
