Pura Vida Missions is an inter-denominational, Christian mission. Our goal is to share the love of Jesus Christ with the people of Costa Rica by providing life changing, short-term mission adventures for youth & adults from the USA, Canada and beyond.
Pastor Jorge had a vision that children and youth would come to his church in San Ramon, Costa Rica. When Jorge suddenly died in 2003, four youth pastors felt God calling them to carry out Jorge’s vision and created Pura Vida Missions in 2004.
To transform lives by providing Christ-centered, life-changing mission adventures and sponsorship programs that give every man, woman and child repeated opportunities to respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

MISSION & DISCIPLESHIP: We are passionate about reaching those who are far from God and believe that every Christian is called an uniquely gifted to carry out the Great Commission.
We lead and host upwards of 600 missionaries from the USA and Canada to serve in Costa Rica through evangelism, discipleship, camps and construction. We sponsor 230+ children to go to school in Costa Rica. All you need to do is get your team to Costa Rica and we will take care of your team from start to finish.
