Show Mercy International is a Christian ministry working in Uganda, Africa. We provide numerous mission opportunities in areas including children’s ministry with orphaned and vulnerable children’s, village outreach, medical missions, prison ministry, door to door evangelism, hospital ministry and much more. We have both short term and long term opportunities.
Show Mercy was founded in 2004 when our founders traveled to Uganda, Africa on a short term mission trip. Their hearts were moved with compassion and Show Mercy was birthed. We now have a 40+ acre missions base thats hosts hundreds of people every year for both short term missions, internships and long term missions opportunities.
Our mission is to mobilize, inspire and empower people to live on purpose while reaching out in love. We believe that everyone was created by God with a special purpose and plan. Our goal is to see that purpose discovered, nurtured and fulfilled.

Show Mercy provides opportunities each year for teams to serve in Uganda! We also have internships that range from 60-90 days and long term staff positions available. Teams stay on our beautiful Field of Dreams compound in Nawanswa/Kaliti village, just northwest of Kampala. These trips are designed to provide opportunities for team members to love on the people of Uganda and to leave Uganda forever changed after personally encountering the power of love in new ways. Team members will participate in various outreaches Show Mercy facilitates. Orphan care, medical outreaches, education outreach, prayer ministry are some of the main focuses of Show Mercy but we are constantly adding additional outreaches. Teams will get to be a part of facilitating weekly programs covering all of these areas and more! Team members will have the opportunity to meet and love on the sponsored children Show Mercy helps care for. There will be opportunities to participate in programs hosted in the local schools. There is also opportunities to serve in our village medical clinic and be a part of medical outreaches and prayer ministry in the villages. There is so much to be done. We can’t wait to have you join us! Team activities can include: Village Outreach: Say No To Hunger, HERO Program, Prison Ministry. Encouraging and praying for the sick in local hospital and prisons. Visiting and sharing in village primary and secondary schools. Working with orphans and children in the villages. Work with our agriculture team for farming and livestock projects. Training and equipping local churches and leadership groups. And so much more!
